NWO Whitetail, the Guides You Want for Trophy Northwest Ontario Whitetail Deer Hunts
For hunters in the know, Kenora, Ontario’s whitetail deer herd is often referred to as Ontario’s best kept secret. Body size is unrivaled and rack size compares to any!
The whitetail deer in the Lake of the Woods area of Ontario, Canada live on the northern most limits of the whitetail’s natural range. This in turn produces the most desirable of the species. Every year thousands of hunters, especially Americans, are lured north to Canada, in hope of harvesting a big, mature trophy whitetail deer. Most head west to the Prairie Provinces when all whitetail hunters in pursuit of that big buck need to do is book with NWO Whitetail in Kenora, Ontario.
Having personally hunted whitetail in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, I feel the deer in the Kenora Area of Northwest Ontario are second to none. These same sentiments are confirmed by past guests who have hunted the western provinces and numerous states south of the Canadian border.
Hunters are limited to one deer per tag, one tag per hunter. Party hunting is allowed, but the number of deer harvested can’t exceed the number of tags available and for a tag to be considered “available” the hunter that the tag is assigned to must be participating in the hunt and within communicating distance.
Harvesting a monster buck is not every hunter’s sole purpose in coming up. Many hunters are happy if they take a good buck and take their hunt at a different pace. Whatever your style, a hunt will be fashioned to accommodate the hunter’s preference. I operate my outfitter service independently of any large resorts. I strongly believe this allows me to focus on small groups and maintain a more hands on guide service with a 3 to 1 hunter to guide ratio.
Hunters are reminded if you wish to book through NWO Whitetail Outfitters all animals must be harvested in accordance Ontario’s game laws and rules of fair chase.
